PROJECT DEVELOPMENT

1- Polyclinic: in Ecowas Region - which includes 15 members states of West Africa - there is only one polyclinic equipped to international standards; it is a Canadian / Ivorian investors joint-venture, established in 1982, located at Abidjan, Ivory Coast. Its boarding and caring capacity - 200 beds - is far below the demand in the region [150,000,000 inhabitants] and many care-seeking people have to travel a continent away, in Europe, for high quality and sophisticated health treatment. So, the opportunity exists to establish a second polyclinic, packed with the latest medical equipment, to service the wealthy nationals of Benin, Nigeria; and also the Northern hemisphere's expatriates residing in said countries. Estimated financing needed for a 300 beds facility and adequate logistic : US$ 30,000,000

2- Rice Production
:
Since the 1970's, rice became a very popular diet with the urban population of West African states. The consumption of rice had increased in comparison to other edibles such as roots, cereals and vegetables. 80% of the consumed tonnage is imported; that is to say 3,000,000 metric tons per year for the 15 members states of Ecowas. Local production being far below the demand level, there is a great opportunity to produce rice as substitute to importation

Also to be mentioned is the opportunity about Corrugated Cardboard Roofing: all kind of cellulose materials can be processed into a very attractive and solid state roofing material suitable for

tropical countries housing / constructions
